The Road Ahead

Every remodel follows the same road: design, build, then install.

We design, build, and install custom cabinets. Custom cabinets are built in our shop here in Saskatoon, so there is no overseas shipping delay on top of the build. Countertops are part of the same project, and we manage the countertops.

A straightforward refresh with cabinetry kept in place can wrap up in a few weeks. A full gut-and-rebuild kitchen with custom cabinets and new countertops more often lands in the 6 to 16 week range.

Keeping It Moving

What helps a remodel stay on schedule.

Helps the schedule

  • Keeping the existing kitchen layout so walls, plumbing, and electrical stay put
  • Making all material decisions before the build starts, so fabrication is never waiting
  • Keeping a clear line with your project manager throughout the build

Costs time

  • Moving walls, doors, or windows, which pulls in structural and permit time
  • Adding extras after fabrication starts, which resets the production queue
  • Changing finishes or materials mid-project
Common Questions

The remodel process, answered.

Do you give a written timeline and budget before we start?

Yes. At your consultation we map the full schedule and budget with target dates and cost ranges before any work begins.

How many stages does a remodel go through?

Every remodel follows design, build, then install. The consultation comes first, and the walkthrough and follow-up care come last.

Do I need every decision made before the build starts?

Yes. Finalize every material, finish, and layout decision before the build starts. Locking in your cabinet style and countertop early keeps fabrication from waiting.
